Unit One Math Test Review

Unit One Math Test Review
Our district uses the Everyday Mathematics Curriculum.  It teaches a wide variety of skills and concepts quickly and then allows them to spiral throughout the year so that students achieve mastery by repeated practice over an extended period of time.
Enjoy these pictures of our Smartboard Test Review Game.  Students are answering each review question on their iPad to check for understanding of the upcoming test questions.
Kyndall answers the question to, 'What is 10 less than a number?' while Rhys solves the answer on his iPad.

The blue team waits expectantly for the next question to appear on the screen for them to solve.
These students are thinking of examples of odd numbers.
(Remember our song, friends...1,3,5,7,9.)

The green team is hard at work to solve the next review question.

 One, two, three four...
Number five shuts the door.
Six, seven, eight, nine...
Number ten draws a line.
Students work to use tally marks for given numbers.
This group is hard at work as they use the greater than, less than, and equal symbols.

Holden takes his turn to demonstrate his knowledge of using tally marks for the class.
