Happy Constitution Day!

Happy Constitution Day!
Check out this great book...We The Kids.
We spent lots of time inside this book that teaches the Preamble of the United States Constitution while providing wonderful illustrations.  We imagined what it might have been like to have been our Founding Fathers back in 1787, to have written these words, and to have recited them together for the first time. Below is the video of our recording of the Preamble...from memory!  This class was SO motivated to learn this from beginning to end!
I was one proud teacher!

I love school picture day.  Those extra minutes in the morning spent picking out our favorite outfits and making sure every hair is in place are well worth it!
